Ingredients
- Cauliflower florets (Boiled) (1 no. (Small))
- Paneer (100 gm.)
- Boiled Potato (1 no.)
- Ginger chopped (1 tsp)
- Green chili chopped (2 no.)
- Black pepper crushed (¼ tsp)
- Garam masala powder (½ tsp)
- Salt (to taste)
For Pakode
- Fortune Besan (1½ cup)
- Carom seeds (¼ tsp)
- Turmeric Powder ( ½ tsp)
- Salt (to taste)
- Water (as required)
- Fortune Xpert Pro Sugar Conscious Oil (for frying)
For batter
- Fortune Xpert Pro Sugar Conscious Oil (3-4 tbsp)
- Cinnamon stick (1 inch)
- Black cardamoms (1 no.)
- Black pepper (1 tsp)
- Ginger chopped (1 inch)
- Green chilli chopped (3-4 no.)
- Cashew nut paste (¼ cup)
- Yogurt (¼ cup)
- Water (½ cup)
- Milk (½ cup)
- Green cardamom powder (¼ tsp)
- Garam masala powder (½ tsp)
- Black pepper crushed (for sprinkle)
- Saffron (½ tsp)
- Fresh Cream (3-4 tbsp)
- Kasoori methi (1 tsp)
- Salt (to taste)
For gravy
method
- Heat Fortune Xpert Pro Sugar Conscious Oil in a kadai.
- Take mixing bowl; add Fortune Besan, carom seeds, turmeric powder, salt and water, mix well and make thick batter. Keep it aside.
- Take another mixing bowl, add paneer and boiled potatoes and mash well.
- Add ginger chopped, green chilli chopped, black pepper crushed, garam masala powder and salt and mix well.
- Now stuff this mixture in back side of the cauliflower.
- Dip the stuffed cauliflower in the batter and fry until half cooked.
- Remove it on a paper towel.
- Take wet muslin cloth, place fried pakodas on it and press the pakodas with your hands and keep it aside.
- Add little water in a batter, dip the pakodas and deep fry it until crisp.
- Remove it on paper towel and keep it aside.
For gravy:
- Mix together cashew nut paste and yogurt in a bowl and keep it aside.
- Heat Fortune Xpert Pro Sugar Conscious Oil in a nonstick Pan. Add cinnamon stick, black cardamom and black pepper, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
- Add ginger chopped and green chilli chopped, mix well and sauté for 1 min.
- Add cashew nut-yogurt mixture, mix well and sauté for 10 min. on medium flame.
- Add water, mix well and cook for 1 min.
- Add milk, mix well and cook for 3-4 mins.
- Add green cardamom power, garam masala powder, saffron, fresh cream and kasoori methi, mix well and cook for 2 min.
- Add salt, mix well and cook for 1 min.
- Place the cauliflower pakoda on serving plate, pour gravy on top, sprinkle black pepper crushed on top.
- Garnish with fried Boondi and fresh cream and serve hot.
