panchsara para Recipe


    • Fennel seeds (1 tsp)
    • Black pepper crushed (¼ tsp)
    • Fortune maida (2 cups)
    • Rice flour (½ cup)
    • Salt (A pinch)
    • Cardamom powder (¼ tsp)
    • Fortune Soya Health Refined Soyabean Oil (1 Tbsp + deep fry)
    • Water (As required)

    For sugar syrup

    • Fortune sugar (2 cups)
    • Water (1 cup)
    • Fennel seeds (1 tsp)


    • In a mortar pestle grind fennel seeds, black pepper and keep aside.
    • In a mixing bowl combine fortune maida, rice flour, salt, cardamom powder, mixture from mortar pestle, Fortune Soya Health Refined Soyabean Oil and mix well.
    • Add water as required and knead into a hard dough.
    • Cover the dough with a moist muslin cloth and keep it to rest for 15-20 mins.
    • Meanwhile heat a pan and add Fortune Sugar, water, fennel seeds and cook till 1 string consistency is achieved. Keep the syrup aside once ready.
    • Heat a pan with Fortune Soya Health Refined Soyabean Oil to deep fry the panchasara paras.
    • Dust flour on the side and take a large portion of the dough and Using a rolling pin roll it into a paratha.
    • Using a knife cut the dough into diamond shape pieces and keep aside. Repeat the procedure for the entire dough.
    • Deep fry the paras till crisp and golden brown on both sides
    • Remove on an absorbent paper when crisp and golden brown
    • Take the sugar syrup pan and mix well.
    • Add the fried paras into the sugar syrup and mix well.
    • Transfer the paras to a serving plate and serve as desired.
