Mini Burgers cooked by our Home Chefs:

Mini Burgers Recipe:


For the burger patty:

  • Water for boiling
  • Fortune Soya Badi Granules (50 grams)
  • Salt to taste
  • Boiled sweet potatoes (1 cup)
  • Garlic paste (1 tsp)
  • Black pepper powder (1/2 tsp)
  • Mixed herbs (2 tsp)
  • Red chilli flakes (1/2 tsp)
  • Brown bread crumbs (3 tbsp)
  • Fortune Soya Health Oil (2 tbsp)

For the dip:

  • Mayonnaise or hung curd (1/2 cup)
  • Tomato ketchup (2-3 tbsp)

For assembly:

  • Brown bread (8-10 slices)
  • A bunch of lettuce leaves
  • Cheese slices (4-5)
  • Boil enough water in a pot and add a pinch of salt
  • Add Fortune Soya Badi Granules and let it boil for 2-3 minutes.
  • Strain and rinse with fresh water and squeeze out the excess water.
  • Techniques in focus #1: Use Sweet potatoes instead of potatoes for higher nutritional value.
  • Now in a bowl add boiled and mashed sweet potatoes, soaked soya granules, garlic paste, salt to taste, black pepper, mixed herbs or oregano and red chilli flakes.
  • Techniques in focus #2: Use brown bread crumbs for binding which is a healthier version of traditional bread crumbs. 
  • Give it a nice mix until everything comes together.
  • Apply some Fortune Soya Health Oil on your palms and make mini patties.
  • Techniques in focus #3: Home-made healthy frozen patties: 
  • You can make larger quantities and seal the patties in a zip lock bag and freeze them in the deep freezer. You can use them later on until a month.
  • Techniques in focus #4: Grill the patties with less oil instead of deep frying
  • Set a grill pan on medium heat and add some Fortune Soya Health Oil
  • Grill the patties for 3-4 minutes in each side.
  • Techniques in focus #5: Using a round cookie cutter or a steel bowl cut roundels out of the bread slices.
  • Toast the bread roundels on a pan by adding some butter.
  • Make tomato mayo by mixing the mayo and ketchup together. You could also make a healthier version of the same by replacing the mayo with hung curd, don’t forget to season the hung curd with some salt and pepper to taste.
  • Cut cheese slices into halves to make mini cheese slices.
  • Now assemble the mini burgers by placing a bread roundel and applying some tom-mayo, then place some lettuce on top, the burger patty, mini cheese slice, some more of that tom-mayo dip and finally the top toasted bread roundel.
  • You can secure the burgers with toothpicks
  • Your mini burgers are ready to be served.
