How to make Soya Tikki?

Boil water in a pan with some salt. Add the soya chunks to the boiling water and boil for 5-6 minutes.+

Transfer the chunks to a bowl of room temperature water and then squeeze out the excess water from the chunks.

Grind the boiled soya chunks in a blender and transfer to a large bowl.

Add the rest of the Soya Tikki ingredients, except the grated paneer, to the bowl and mix well.

Grease your hands with oil and make balls with the Soya Tikki mixture. Make space in the centre and fill it with the grated paneer. Shape the balls into tikkis.

Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.

Serve the Soya Tikkis hot with ketchup or mint chutney on the side.
