Soya burger

    Ingredients for the patty
    • 2 tbsp finely chopped carrots
    • 20 g finely chopped Fortune Soya Chunks
    • 2 tbsp finely chopped French beans
    • 2 medium sized potatoes (boiled and mashed)
    • 1 slice whole wheat bread
    • 1/2 tbsp finely chopped green chilli
    • 1/4 tbsp Black pepper (kalimirch) powder
    • 1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
    • Oil for frying
    • Salt to taste

    Other Ingredients
    • 2 Burger buns
    • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
    • 2 medium sized Lettuce leaves
    • 2 sliced onions
    • 1 cheese slice
    • 2 sliced green cucumbers
    • 2 sliced tomatoes
    • Salt to taste
Method of preparation
    • Combine all the ingredients for the patty together in a bowl and mix well.
    • Flatten the rounds to make tikkis.
    • Fry the tikkis till they are golden brown.

    How to serve
    • Cut the burger bun horizontally into two and toast them lightly in an oven or on a tava (griddle).
    • On the upper half of bun spread 1 tsp of the tomato ketchup.
    • Place lettuce leaves on bottom of the bun.
    • Place a few onion slices, cucumber slices, tomato slices and sprinkle a little
    • salt over it.
    • Finally place a slice of cheese and a tikki.
    • Cover with the remaining half of the bun and press it lightly.

    Delicious Soya Burger is ready!
